Our scientist recently established a novel and rapid test for detecting diarrheal pathogens for resource -limited country with sensitivity of 93% for shigella, 98% for ETEC. This test method is based on LAMP DNA amplification method for rapid, highly specific and efficient DNA detection under isothermal conditions. This diagnostic test is designed for endemic regions where complex diagnostics are impractical. Our scientists address critical gaps in infectious disease detection in low-resource settings, combining rapid, sensitive, and field deployable technology with global health research goals.
